A democratic society cannot exist unless all students are succeeding academically.
Since its founding in 1987, those affiliated with MMEP have leveraged their collective solidarity to keep students of color squarely in the middle of all educational reforms in Minnesota. By initiating a membership with MMEP you become an integral member in this collaborative. Or, by renewing your membership you reaffirm your continued support of this vital work.
Your time, ideas, and financial support will enable MMEP to continue to research, advocate, convene, and innovate.
MMEP membership includes:
- Voting rights at the annual meeting of members.
- Periodic e-alerts about policy updates, research information, and upcoming forums and conferences.
- A copy of the annual Academic Enrichment Guide.
- Special member rates for conference and forum attendance.
- One copy of all MMEP research reports including the 2008 State of the Students of Color.
