MMEP recognized that Minnesota has lower college access rates in addition to lower college graduation rates among students of color, and created the Minnesota College Access Network as a strategic initiative to address these issues.
MMEP’s initiative to create the “space” – literally and figuratively - for Minnesota to be enlightened and empowered to act on behalf of African American males in their educational aspirations.
