Frontiers in Racial Equity Conference

Defining Education Policy & Practice

2010 was a key year in education reform in our nation and state. MMEP’s Frontiers in Racial Equity Conference gathered approximately 400 Minnesota P-20 educators and administrators as well as community advocates, elected officials, and policymakers to help create a new vision of education excellence. The vision is based upon an inclusive research-informed workplan that creates higher quality and racial equity in the education of all our youth.

Take a look at this short video about the conference:

The conference is over but you can still get information on plenary sessions, the keynote speech by Tim King of Urban Prep Academies, and over 20 breakout sessions covering a wide variety of topics critical to education.

We will continue to deliver new materials based upon what took place at the conference. Review the session information. If you are ready to help make race equity the norm in Minnesota, join us.
